Shinobu Kurogane, a newspaper journalist working for “Kyoto Times”, is known for her fearless and tenacious newsgathering.
And because of her zealously intense newsgathering, she is often refused access to sites and told to stay behind the yellow tape, and that is how she got her nickname “Yellow Taped Newswoman”.

She is always cool and blunt and not scared of anything, but such attitude often creates conflicts with people around her.
The drama is all about the newswoman who gives all she has for her newsgathering to uncover hidden truths.
