タイのガールズグループTHX（テンクス）Tata、Bambam、Cindy、Cheer インタビュー／Interview with THX（Tata、Bambam、Cindy and Cheer）(日本語＆English）
THX（テンクス）は、2024年11月にタイでデビューしたガールズグループ。それぞれの個性を生かした実力派のメンバー構成で、The Viral Hits Award 2025では 年間最優秀人気ガールズグループ に選ばれるなど、勢いのある4人組。「ソンクラーン」祭りに合わせてリリースされた最新曲「Sip」を引き下げ、今年のタイフェスのステージに登場しました。

―― まずは、チューレン（ニックネーム）を交えた自己紹介をお願いいたします。
Tata： タタです。 タタは大きい、偉大という意味です。長女なのでこのチューレンになりました。
Bambam： バムバムです。兄がターボという名前なのですが、同じように読みやすい名前ということでBambamになりました。
Cindy： シンディーです。ドイツとのハーフなので、名前の由来はよく分からないんです（笑）
Cheer： チアです。 本当はAsia(エイシア/アジア)というニックネームだったのですが、祖母が呼びづらいとのことでCheerになりました。
―― グループ名の由来を教えてください
Tata： THX（テンクス）のTHはタイランドから来ています。Xには女性的な、という意味合いを込めています。 みんなとても気に入っています。
―― このメンバーでデビューをするという話を聞いたとき、どう思いましたか？
Bambam： この 4人になると聞いたときは、期待感でいっぱいでした。 それぞれ“個性“が違うので、混ざったらどうなるのだろう？ と楽しみな気持ちでした。
Tata： この4人の中のでは、“可愛い”を担当しています。
Bambam： 私はセクシー担当です。
Cindy： カッコいい系です。
Cheer： Cindyはイケメンだけど、私はやんちゃ寄りです。
―― 個性豊かなグループなのですね
全員： サートゥー（สาธุ） （「ありがとう」のような意味で使っています）
―― デビューから1年半経ちましたが、メンバーの関係性は変わりましたか？
Cindy： 時間の経過と共に、仲良くなっています。
Bambam： 悩みを相談したりするようになり、とてもいい関係を築いています。
―― 芸能界に入るきっかけは？
Tata： 祖母が歌手だった影響で、歌が好きでした。ダンスを習っていて、オーディションなどを受けていました。
Bambam： もともと歌やダンスが好きで、母も自分の娘がステージで輝いているのが好きだったこともあり、今に至ります。
Cindy： 子供のころからアーティストになることが夢で色々なことにチャレンしてきました。
うちの母も、娘の夢を応援してくれていました。
Cheer： 小さい頃から歌とダンスが好きで、それを見ていた母の勧めで習い事をしていました。
―― 新曲をソンクラーン（タイの水かけ祭り）に合わせてリリースしたのはなぜですか？
Bambam： 「Sip」という今回の曲のコンセプトが“みんなで楽しく踊れる曲”だったので、ソンクラーンの時期にしました。 楽しい曲です。
Cindy： タイのアーティスト(Ja Nongpanee)とコラボしたり、音にもタイの要素が入っているので、そこにも注目してもらえると面白いと思います。
Bambam： もともとソンクラーンはイベントが多く、楽しい時期です。
―― 普段の皆さんについても聞かせてください。プライベートでは、どのような音楽を楽しんでいますか？
Tata： 音楽が好きなので、色々なジャンルの曲を聞きます。
Bambam： T-POPとK-POPが多いですが、たまにJ-POPも聴きます
Cindy： T-POPが意味が分かりやすいのでよく聴きます。K-POPもJ-POPも好きです。
Cheer： R&BとT-POPです。最近はアニメの曲も聴きます。好きなアニメは「鬼滅の刃」です。
―― 音楽以外で得意なことや好きなことは何ですか？
Tata： 歌が好きですが、母の影響でお菓子作りも得意です
Bambam： 写真を撮るのが好きなので、おしゃれをしてカフェに行ったりしています。
Cindy： アウトドア派なので山に登ったりしています。時間があるときは自宅で歌って録音したりもしています。
Cheer： 外出したりするのが好きで、デパートでウインドウショッピングをするのが好きです。
―― 今回の来日は満喫できましたか？
Tata： 今回は浅草寺に行きました。
Bambam： 日本には4回か５回ぐらい来ています。どこかに行くとなったらファーストチョイスは日本です。
Cindy： 来日は3回目です。 XG（日本の7人組グループ）のファンで、日本の文化と食事も好きで楽しんでいます。 言葉も可愛くて好き。
Cheer： 私も３回ぐらい来ています。日本の化粧品が特に好きです。

THX is a girl group that debuted in Thailand in November 2024. With a lineup of talented members who each bring their own unique personalities to the group, this dynamic quartet was named “Most Popular Girl Group of the Year” at The Viral Hits Award 2025. They took the stage at this year’s Thai Fest, promoting their latest song “Sip,” which was released to coincide with the Songkran festival.

―― First, please introduce yourselves using your nicknames.
Tata: I’m Tata. “Tata” means big or great. Since I’m the eldest daughter, I got this nickname.
Bambam: I’m Bambam. My older brother’s name is Turbo, so they wanted a similar name that’s short and easy to pronounce, which is how I ended up with Bambam.
Cindy: I’m Cindy. I’m half-German, so I’m not really sure where my name comes from (laughs)
Cheer: I’m Cheer. My nick name was Asia, but my grandmother said it was hard to pronounce, so I ended up with this nickname.
―― Please tell us the origin of the group’s name.
Tata: The “TH” in THX comes from Thailand. We put the meaning of “feminine” into the “X.” We all really like it.
―― What did you think when you heard you’d be debuting with this lineup?
Bambam: When I heard it would be the four of us, I was filled with anticipation. Since we all have different “personalities,” I was excited to see how we’d blend together.
Tata: Among the four of us, I’m in charge of being “cute.”
Bambam: I’m in charge of being sexy.
Cindy: I’m the cool type.
Cheer: Cindy is handsome, but I’m more of a spirited girl.
―― So you’re a group with a lot of unique personalities.
All: สาธุ ( they use this word like “thank you.”)
―― It’s been a year and a half since your debut. Have your relationships as members changed?
Cindy: We’ve grown closer as time has gone on.
Bambam: We’ve started confiding in each other about our worries and have built a really good relationship.
―― What led you to enter the entertainment industry?
Tata: My grandmother was a singer, so I’ve always loved singing. I took dance lessons and went to auditions.
Bambam: I’ve always loved singing and dancing, and my mom loved seeing her daughter shine on stage, which is how I ended up here.
Cindy: It’s been my dream to become an artist since I was a child, so I’ve taken on all sorts of challenges. My mom also supported daughter’s dream.
Cheer: I’ve loved singing and dancing since I was little, and my mom, seeing that, encouraged me to take lessons.
―― Why did you release your new song to coincide with Songkran (the Thai water festival)?
Bambam: Since the song’s concept was “a song everyone can enjoy”, so we chose the Songkran season. It’s a fun song.
Cindy: We collaborated with Thai artists(Ja Nongpanee), and there are Thai elements in the music, so I think it would be interesting if people paid attention to that as well.
Bambam: Songkran is a time with lots of events and fun.
―― Please tell us about your daily life. What kind of music do you enjoy in your free time?
Tata: I love music, so I listen to songs from various genres.
Bambam: I mostly listen to T-POP and K-POP, but I listen to J-POP occasionally too.
Cindy: I listen to T-POP a lot because the lyrics are easy to understand. I also like K-POP and J-POP.
Cheer: R&B and T-POP. Lately, I’ve been listening to anime songs too. My favorite anime is “Demon Slayer.”
―― Besides music, what are your hobbies or things you’re good at?
Tata: I love singing, but thanks to my mom’s influence, I’m also good at baking.
Bambam: I love taking photos, so I like to dress up and go to cafes.
Cindy: I’m an outdoorsy person, so I go hiking. When I have time, I also sing and record myself at home.
Cheer: I like going outside, and I enjoy window shopping at department stores.
―― Did you enjoy your visit to Japan this time?
Tata: This time, I went to Senso-ji Temple(Tokyo, Asakusa).
Bambam: I’ve been to Japan about four or five times. Whenever I decide to go somewhere, Japan is my first choice.
Cindy: This is my third time visiting Japan. I’m a fan of XG (a seven-member Japanese group), and I love and enjoy Japanese culture and food. I also love the language—it’s so cute.
Cheer: I’ve been here about three times as well. I especially love Japanese cosmetics.

During a break, the conversation turned to BL dramas. The members said they didn’t know that “seme”, “uke”, and “yuri” were Japanese terms.
“Maybe we’re speaking Japanese without even realizing it!” they said cheerfully. With smiles on their faces, they shared their aspirations to absorb Japanese language and culture and aim for even greater success.
