Benz 特別インタビュー／Special Interview with BENZ KHAOKHWAN (日本語＆English）
今回がタイフェス初出場となるBenzは、ピンクの華やかな衣装で登場。大きなスマイルと共に、元気にインタビューに応じてくれました。
Q：まずはお名前について教えてください。
ーBenz Khaokhwanです。「Benz」はチューレンで、ステージネームがあり「KKB」と言います。
Q：チューレンの由来を教えていただけますか？
ーBenzは母が車のベンツを好きだったことからきています。
また、その頃から人気のBenz Pornchitaさんという方がいるのですが、歌手に俳優にと多彩に活躍されていて、その方のように多才に育ってほしいという母の願いも込められているようです。
Q：日本人のファンに呼んでほしい特別な呼び方はありますか？
ー実はさっきチームのスタッフと、「日本の名前だったら何がいいかな？」と話していて、“キョウコ”というのはどうかなって。
というのもタイに「หมั่นเขี้ยว（マンキアオ＝食べちゃいたいほどかわいい）」という言葉があるのですが、響きが似ている日本の女の子の名前なので、キョウコが可愛いかなって。でもBenzと呼んでいただくのがいいかと思います(笑)

ー仕事で来たのは今回が初めてです。が、プライベートでは何回か来ています！
Q：日本にはどんな印象を持っていますか？
ー私にとって日本は大好きな国のひとつです！文化もそうですし、日本人の皆さんが本当に優しくてフレンドリーで。あと、日本料理がとっても美味しくて大好きです。それからもう1つ！着物を着るのが大好きです。日本に来るたびに必ず着物を着るんですよ！
キティちゃんが大好きなので今回はぜひキティちゃんの着物を着てみたいです(笑)
Q：日本の音楽を聴くことはありますか？
ーはい、あります。歌手なので色々なジャンルの曲を聴くようにしているのですが、日本の曲はYouTubeやSNSで聴いたりします。可愛い曲がたくさんあるので、私も歌ったり踊ったりしたいなと思っています。

ーわぁ…（照）！歌詞はちょっとわからないのですが…（と言いながらimaseさんのNIGHT DANCERを少し口ずさんで）この曲もよくYouTubeやSNSで流れてきます。聴くととてもエナジーが沸いてくるような感じですごく可愛い曲だと思います。
Q：では、日本に限らず好きなアーティストや楽曲はありますか？
ー実はkeshiさんが大好きでよく聴いています。女性だとアリアナ・グランデさんが好きです。
ー仕事で来たのは今回が初めてです。が、プライベートでは何回か来ています！

その他の予定については、いくつかフェスに参加する予定などもありますので公式SNSをフォローしていただければと思います。

Q: First of all, tell us about your name.
ーBenz Khaokhwan. ”Benz“ is Nickname, and I have a stage name, ”KKB.
Q: Can you tell us the meaning of your Nickname?
ーMy Mother loves the car Benz .Also, there is Benz Pornchita, who has been popular since that time and is a singer and actor in many different fields.
Q: Is there a special name you would like your Japanese fans to call you?
ーActually, I was just talking with the team staff about “What would be a good Japanese name?” I was talking with the team staff earlier, and we were wondering if “Kyoko” would be a good name.
There is a Thai word “หมั่นเขี้ยว” (so cute and I want to eat), and I thought Kyoko would be cute because it is a Japanese girl's name that sounds similar. But I think it would be better if you call me Benz．
Q: Have you been to Japan before?
ーThis is my first time coming to Japan for work, but I have been here several times for personal reasons.
Q: What is your impression of Japan?
ーJapan is one of my favorite countries! I love the culture, and Japanese people are so kind and friendly. Also, Japanese food is delicious and I love it. And one more thing! I love wearing kimono. Every time I come to Japan, I always wear a kimono!
I love Hello Kitty, so I'd really like to wear a Hello Kitty kimono this time (laughs).
Q: Do you listen to Japanese music?
ーYes, I do. As a singer, I try to listen to various genres of music, and I listen to Japanese songs on YouTube and social media. There are so many cute songs, and I'd like to sing and dance to them too.
Q: Please sing a little for us…!
ーWow... (blushing)! I don't really understand the lyrics... (while humming a bit of imase's “NIGHT DANCER”) This song also comes up a lot on YouTube and social media. When I listen to it, it feels like it gives me a lot of energy, and I think it's a really cute song.
Q: Are there any artists or songs you like, not limited to Japan?
ーActually, I really like keshi and listen to them a lot. Among female artists, I like Ariana Grande.
Q: What kind of activities would you like to do for yourself in the future?

ーI recently released a song called “Hot Deal,” and I have plans to release a Japanese version of “คิดดีไม่ได้เลย (RIPE)” after I return to Thailand! (On May 22, after the interview, “คิดดีไม่ได้เลย (RIPE) [Japanese Version]” will be released.
As for other plans, we are planning to participate in several festivals, so please follow our official SNS.
Q: After this, you will be on stage at the Thailand festival! Please tell us about your enthusiasm.
ーThis will be my first time to participate in the Thai festival, and there will be a live band as well as myself, and I will sing the Japanese version of “คิดดีไม่ได้เลย (RIPE)” that I just introduced! I will try my best to sing with all my heart. I will try my best to sing it with all my heart. Please enjoy it!
