A brief live report (English＆日本語）of Gulf 3rd Fan meeting in Japan on July 22nd 2023.
バレンタインに続き3回目の来日ファンミーティングとなる今回。自らを雨男だと認めているGulfだったが、この日ばかりは驚くほどよく晴れた暑い日の開催となった。
Gulf 3rd Fan Meeting “Memory with You”と題して開催。ファンとの「思い出」をテーマに、ファンもGulfも互いに大切な時間を記憶に焼き付けるようなイベントになるよう構成された。
■昼公演
オープニング映像に続き１曲目の歌からはじまる。キラキラと光を放つ青い衣裳を着たGulfが舞台上にあらわれると、ファンからは大きな歓声があがった。
トークコーナーのテーマも「Gulfと1年間の思い出を振り返ろう」という企画からスタート。思い出を多く残そうという内容となった。1年の中で新しい愛猫が増えたり、北海道で雪を見たりと、さまざまな初経験をした彼のトークが繰り広げられた。
ファン参加コーナーでは、前回のファンミーティングでファン自らが撮影したGulfの写真が舞台上のスクリーンに映し出された。その中からベストショットをGulfが選び、当選者にプレゼントを渡すというサプライズもあり、ファンから歓声があがる。写真はどれもとても上手に撮影されており、Gulfも選ぶのに苦戦。多く選んであげたいというGulfの優しい人柄もあり、時間をかけて真剣に考える顔が見受けられた。
歌やゲームコーナーなどを挟み、後半では恒例の集合写真撮影。会場いっぱいに観客の姿を確認し、本当に嬉しそうに微笑むGulf。色鮮やかなペンライトの色とファンの笑顔を焼き付けるように会場内を上から下まで見渡す。3回目となる今回のファンミーティングでも、今までと同じようにファンを愛おしそうに見つめ、何度も繰り返し会場に向かって手を振る。ファンとの思い出の写真がまた一つ増える形となった。
エンディングパートでは、恒例の日本語の曲も披露。忙しいタイでの活動の中でも、決して怠ることなく、日本のファンミーティングのために一生懸命練習をしてファンを喜ばせてくれるGulf。優しい声と日本語が程よくマッチし、さらに会場を沸かせていた。

夜公演のテーマは「がるふの夏祭り」。日本ファンクラブ設立1年を記念し、初の会員限定公演となった。夏祭りらしく浴衣姿で登場したGulfからファンへの感謝の気持ちが伝えられる温かい公演となった。

This was Gulf's third fan meeting in Japan, following Valentine's Day. Gulf admits that he is a rainy man, but on this day, it was surprisingly sunny and hot.
The event was titled "Gulf 3rd Fan Meeting "Memory with You". With the theme of "memories" with fans, the event was organized so that both fans and Gulf would remember each other's precious moments.
■Day time show
The opening video was followed by the first song. Fans cheered loudly when Gulf appeared on stage wearing sparkling blue costumes.
The theme of the talk corner started with a plan to "look back on the memories of the past year with Gulf". He talked about the many firsts he had experienced during the year, such as getting a new cat and seeing snow in Hokkaido.
In the fan participation corner, photos of Gulf taken by fans at the previous fan meeting were shown on the screen on the stage. Gulf chose the best shot from among them and gave the winner a present, which was a surprise and drew cheers from the fans. The photos were all so well taken that Gulf had a hard time choosing the best one. With Gulf's kind personality of wanting to choose many, we could see his face taking time to think seriously about it.
After songs and games, the second half of the event featured the customary group photo shoot. Gulf looked around the venue from top to bottom, trying to capture the vivid colors of the penlights and the smiling faces of the fans. He waved his hand to the audience again and again. Memorable photos were taken with the fans.
In the ending part, he performed a Japanese song as usual. Gulf, who has been practicing hard for the Japanese fan meeting, never slacks off despite his busy schedule in Thailand, and his gentle voice and Japanese were a perfect match, making the audience even more excited.
■Night Time show (for fan club members only)
The theme of the night show was "Gulf's Summer Festival". This was the first members-only performance to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the establishment of the Japanese fan club. Gulf appeared in yukata (summer kimono) and expressed his gratitude to his fans.
