Special Interview (English＆日本語）of Krist Perawat on April 11th 2023 in Tokyo
TELASAでの配信を記念し、アーティストKristとしてのインタビューをさせていただきました。
豪華なバンドメンバーを引き連れての来日について、さらに普段の生活の中にどのように音楽が溶け込んでいるのかなど、まとめてお聞きしました。
音楽の話になるとより一層目を輝かせて話すKristからは
ステージへの愛が溢れていました。
━━今回の来日公演で、絶対歌うと決めていた曲はありますか？
Krist：選曲についてはとても考えました。
まず、タイ語が分からないかもしれない日本のファンにも
特別感を感じてもらえるように自分が作詞作曲をした曲を選びました。
また、タイのモーラムというタイの伝統音楽を入れました。
日本からは日本の太鼓を入れ、タイと日本の交流みたいなものを作りたかったのです。自分（Krist）だけが作ったと思われているファンの方もいるかもしれませんが、そうではなく、
沢山の方の力を借りて作り上げました。
━━日本のファンと一緒に歌いたかったですか？それとも踊りたかったですか？
Krist: 一緒に歌ってほしいです。
僕はあまり踊るのが得意じゃないから照れちゃう。
一緒に歌ってくれると嬉しくて心が温かくなります。
たとえ言葉がわからなくても一緒に歌ってくれるだけで嬉しいです。
━━沢山練習してきたとお聞きしていますが、特に準備してきたことは何ですか？
Krist: 特別に用意してきたのは「Look Om」という曲です。
さらにレベルアップしてアコースティックギターを自分で弾いて、また日本語も（一部）披露します。日本のファンのために準備してきました。
━━今回の来日メンバーは、Polycat やInk Waruntorn（イン・ワラントン）のサポートメンバーなど、かなり豪華なバンドメンバーとなりましたが、メンバーについて教えてください。

沢山伝えたかったことがあります。
バンド名は、Safe Houseといういい意味が付いています。バンドメンバーには、日本に来る前に「僕の後ろに付くのではなく、一緒に楽しんでほしい、前に出てほしい」と伝えました。プライベートでも仲良く、家族のような存在です。 (今回の来日公演の）舞台上で泣いてしまいましたが、バンドメンバーも一緒に泣いていました。

長い間、お世話になりたいと思っています。
━━曲は上からおりてきますか？それとも時間をかけて作りますか？
Krist: どちらかというと突然浮かんでくるのが多いです。
専門で勉強してきたわけではなく、勘や経験で作ってきました。
真面目に座って考えると続かないので、これからもたくさん勉強したいです。
━━作詞と作曲、どっちが作りやすいですか？
Krist: 作詞からやります。作曲は手伝ってくれるチームがいます。
━━メロディーを作る時に何を使いますか？（キーボード、ギター、鼻歌など）
Krist: アコースティックギターです。
━━ステージに立つときに心がけていることはありますか？
Krist: みなさんが一緒に盛り上がったり、楽しんでくれたら僕は嬉しいです。
もともとはエンターテイナーなので、みなさんをエンターテインすることが楽しみです。
一緒に楽しんでくれると嬉しいです。
━━海外に行く機会も多いかと思いますが、海外で見る景色は作曲作詞に影響はありますか？
Krist: あります。一番新しいところだと、渋谷です。
━━タイでのコンサートで、やると盛り上がることは何かありますか？
Krist: （笑顔で）僕は実は個人的なライフスタイルや真面目なことについて話をすることが大好きなのですが、ファンからは「カワイイ」が求められていると思います。
━━初めて買ったもしくはダウンロードした曲は何ですか？
Krist: POTATOです。初めてドラムをマネしたいと思いました。
━━何歳から音楽活動したいと思うようになりましたか？
Krist: 中学一年生の時に楽器で食べていきたいと思いました。
歌手については、俳優になってから「もしかしたら歌えるかも？」と思いました。
もともと父が音楽をやっていました。
９歳からドラムスクールに通いました。その頃から、将来何になりたいかと聞かれたら「どこかのバンドのドラマーになりたい」と答えていました。
━━タイではK-POPの方が人気かもしれませんが、たまにJ-POPも聴いたりしますか？
Krist: 僕はタイにいると、なかなかK-POPも聴く機会がありません。BLACKPINKをきっかけに少しは聴くようになりましたが、基本的にはバンドの方が好きです。J-POPだとAKBですかね？「恋するフォーチュンクッキー」は少し踊れます。
━━愛しているものに名前を付ける人がいますが、楽器などに名前つけていますか？
Krist: 知らない人も多いかもしれませんが、僕は車が大好きです。愛車には名前があります。タイの車番はタイ語で始まるので、お金も幸せも自分自身も「運んでくれる」という意味の「コン」という名前を付けました。日本の車だとアルファードが好きです。
━━最後に、RISER MUSIC（ライザーミュージック）についても聞かせてください。どんなレーベルですか？
Krist: 今までGMMTVでは僕の後輩も含め、沢山の素晴らしいドラマを作ってきました。俳優が持つ、音楽の才能を世に広めることを目的としています。
━━RISER MUSICらしさや、特徴などはありますか？
Krist: 他のレーベルのことがわからないけど、RISER MUSICは才能豊かなプロデューサーが沢山います。
━━TELASAでコンサートが配信されることになりました。ファンの皆様にメッセージをお願いします
Krist: まず、ファンのみなさん、Safe House Bandのメンバーのみなさん、ありがとうございます。配信でいつでも観ることができるので、コンサートに来ることができなかった方も悲しまないでください。また、観たら感想をSNSで教えてください。
ファンだけでなく、周りのスタッフへの気遣いも忘れないKrist。

We had interviewing him as artist Krist to celebrate his show to be distributed on TELASA.
We asked him about his visit to Japan with his splendid band members in tow, as well as a summary of how music fits into his everyday life.
We heard many stories, but when it came to music, Krist's eyes lit up and he spoke with even more love for the stage.
He was overflowing with love for the stage.
━Are there any songs that you had already decided to sing in Japan?
Krist: We thought a lot about the song selections for this show.
First of all, I chose songs that I had written and composed so that my Japanese fans, who may not understand Thai, would feel special.
I also included a Thai sound called Mor lam from Thailand.
From Japan, I included Japanese drums and wanted to create a kind of exchange between Thailand and Japan.
Some fans may think that I was the only one who made it, but that is not the case. I made it with the help of many people.
━Did you want to sing with your Japanese fans? Or did you want to dance with them?
Krist: I wanted them to sing along.
I'm not much of a dancer, so I get shy.
It makes me happy and warms my heart when they sing with me.
Even if they don't understand the Thai, I'm happy if they sing along with me.
━I know you've been practicing a lot, but what have you done in particular to prepare?
Krist: I have specially prepared a song called "Look Om".
I'm going to take it to another level and play acoustic guitar myself and also perform (some) Japanese. I have prepared for the Japanese fans.
━Your band members for this visit to Japan are quite splendid, including supporting members from Polycat and Ink Waruntorn. Please tell us about them. (Khun Pond as Guitar, March as Piano, Mix as Bass, Win as Drums)
Krist: The name of the band is Safe House Band, which means good.
Before coming to Japan, I told them that I wanted them to have fun with me and to come forward, not to follow me. We are close in private and are like a family.
I cried on stage ( in Japan) , and my band members cried with me.
Thank Polycat and Ms. Ink Waruntorn for lending me your band members.
We hope to have a long time relationship.
━When you write a song, is it comes from your head ? Do you need a lot of time to write them?
Krist: Sounds often just pop into my head.
I have not studied it professionally, but have made it by intuition and experience.
If I sit down and think about to write seriously, it won't last, so I want to continue to learn (study) a lot.
━Which is easier to create, lyrics or music?
Krist: I start with lyrics. I have a team that helps me with the songwriting.
━What do you use to create your melodies? （Keyboards, guitar, humming, etc.)
Krist: Acoustic guitar.
━What do you keep in mind when you are on stage?
Krist: I'm happy if everyone is having a good time and enjoying themselves with me.
I'm an entertainer, so I look forward to entertaining.
I hope they have fun with me.
━I'm sure you get to go abroad a lot, but do the sights you see overseas influence your songwriting?
Krist: Yes. The newest place I've been to is Shibuya.
━What makes more exciting to do at a concert in Thailand usually?
Krist: (smiles) I actually love to talk about my personal lifestyle and serious things, but I think the fans want "kawaii".
━What was the first song you bought or downloaded?
Krist: POTATO. It was the first time I wanted to copy the drums.
━How old were you when you first decided you wanted to play music?
Krist: I wanted to make a living playing an instrument since I was in the seventh grade.
As for singing, I thought "Maybe I can sing? after I became an Actor.
Originally, my father was a musician.
I went to drum school from the age of 9. From then on, when people asked me what I wanted to be in the future, I would say, "I want to be a drummer in some band.
━K-Pop may be more popular in Thailand, but do you sometimes listen to J-Pop as well?
Krist: I don't really get a chance to listen K-pop when I'm in Thailand, I started listening to BLACKPINK a little bit, but basically I prefer bands. For J-POP, I can dance a little "Koisuru Fortune Cookie. ( from AKB,BNK) "
━Some people name the things they love. Do you name your instruments, etc.?
Krist: Many people may not know this, but I love car. My car has a name. The Thai car number starts with the Thai word, so I named it "khǒn" which means "carries". Carry money, carry happiness, and carry myself. If it is a Japanese car, I like Alphard.
━: What kind of label is RISER MUSIC?
Krist: We've had a lot of great dramas on GMMTV, including some of my juniors. Our goal is to promote the musical talents of actors to the world.
━What is unique about RISER MUSIC and what makes it so special?
Krist: I don't know about other labels, but RISER MUSIC has a lot of talented producers.
━Your concert is now available on TELASA. Do you have a message for your fans?
Krist: First of all, thank you to all of our fans and to the members of the Safe House Band. Please don't be sad if you couldn't make it to the concert, because you can watch it anytime via streaming. Also, if you see the show, please let me know what you think.
Krist is not only care about his fans, but also about the staff around him.
