A brief live report (English＆日本語）of Gulf Valentine Event in Japan on Feb.13, 2023.
去年に続き、２回目の来日ファンミーティングとなる今回。自らを雨男だと認めているGulfの言う通り、朝から冷たい雨が降っていたが、会場内はとても暖かい雰囲気に包まれていた。
■昼公演
今回の公演は２月開催ということで、ポスターやグッズもチョコレートやハートをモチーフに、バレンタインの名のもと開催。 テーマに合わせ、赤と白の衣裳で登場したGulf。
前回とは異なり、応援の声が出せるようになったため、ファンからはGulfへの暖かい声が。嬉しそうにその様子を見つめるGulfは、全身でファンからの声を受けとめるような仕草をみせていた。トークコーナーでは、タイのバレンタインの話から始まり、旅行の写真、愛猫Hazardの写真などを交え、自身の近況を話しながら、ファンとの距離を縮めていく。

後半は、新たな衣裳で登場。黒に穴が開いたハートが施されている componentというブランドをまとい、美しくクールな顔で歌い上げる。その後、ファンへのサプライズとして日本の楽曲を披露。前回のファンミーティングでも丁寧に日本語で歌い上げていたが、またテイストの異なる曲を披露。コロナの影響で去年できなかった「ファンと日本語で一緒に歌う」ことがついに現実となり、Gulfからも自然と笑顔がこぼれていた。

赤のジャケットと共に登場。トークをしているときの可愛らしい表情ではなく、クールでカッコよく１曲目を披露。その後笑顔で会場を見渡し、奥の席のファンの顔まで見つめながら微笑む。

20代のGulfが、今考えている「30歳までにやりたいこと」を語るVTRが流れたあと、後半は鮮やかなピンクの衣裳で登場。夜公演でも、ファンと一緒に記念撮影を実施。ファンの顔がきちんと写るように自分は横になりながら撮影。ファンへの愛が溢れる記念すべき1枚となった。
【こぼれ話】
今回披露した楽曲にちなみ、「キテレツ大百科」のキテレツとコロ助のフィギュアを手に記念撮影。「キテレツ大百科」はタイでも放送されており、その存在は知っていたそうですが、「ドラえもん」と同じ作者の作品ということは知らなかったとのこと。フィギュアを見ながら妙に納得した顔をしていました。

Gulf's second fan meeting in Japan
This was Gulf's second fan meeting, following last year's event.
As Gulf says he is a rain man, it was raining cold from the morning, but the atmosphere inside the venue was very warm.
■Day time show
Since this performance was held in February, the posters and merchandise were also decorated with chocolate and heart motifs, in the name of Valentine's Day. In keeping with the theme, Gulf appeared in red and white costumes.
Unlike the previous show, fans warmly cheered for Gulf as they were able to use their voice to support.Gulf looked at them happily and made a gesture as if he was receiving the cheers from the fans with his whole body.
In the talk corner, Gulf started with a story about Valentine's Day in Thailand, then talked about his recent situation with photos of his trip and his cat Hazard.
For the second part, Gulf appeared with the song in a outfit from brand called “component “ with a heart with a hole in it, and sang with a beautifully cool face.
Then, as a surprise for the fans, he performed a Japanese song. He had sung in Japanese at the previous fan meeting last year, but he performed a song with a different taste this time. Gulf was smiling as he sang with his fans in Japanese.
■Night time show
He appeared with a red jacket. Instead of his cute expression when he was talking, he performed the first song in a cool face.
Then he looked around the venue with a smile, even looking at the faces of the fans in the back seats.
After a VTR of Gulf talking about what he thinks about "What I want to do by the time I'm 30," the second half of the show featured Gulf in a bright pink costume.
At the evening performance, he also took a photo with fans as day time show. He took the photo while lying down so that he could capture the fan's face properly. It was a memorable photo overflowing with love for the fans.

Photo was taken with figures of Kiteretsu and Korosuke from "Kiteretsu Daihyakka". He was aware of the name of "Kiteretsu" which is broadcast in Thailand, but he had no idea that it was created by the same author as "Doraemon”
