It is my greatest pleasure to inform you that we have achieved the top annual audience rating of 2013 in both prime-time and golden time. Wefve missed the top in all-day by a very small difference of 0.2% against NTV.
The factor contributing to our success is our powerful programing of news, sports, dramas and game shows presented in a time table that is most suitable to the life style of contemporary Japanese viewers. In addition to our flagship news show Hodo Station, a household name aired in the late evening, our late afternoon show gSuper J Channelh has built up its rating to become another household name in Japan. The coverage of gFIFA World Cup Asian Qualifierh and exhibition matches showing a stronger Team Japan were rating boosters and the Japanese skaters leading the international events have made our exclusive coverage of gISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Seriesh an even more powerful content. The mega-hit drama series of gAIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duoh in its 12th season and gDoctor-Xh in its 2nd season have done even better than last year. And our games shows with a sprinkle of infortainment like gStuck Till Youfre Done,h gNeighborhood Treasures,h and gBattle of the Budgetsh also contributed much to our annual rating results.
In addition to that, experimental shows aired very late at night in what we call gPrime-2h slot (23:00-25:00) have been very successful winning the top Prime-2 annual rating for 9 consecutive years. The shows incubated in Prime-2 move onto golden and prime time to give us new momentums.
Our 55th Anniversary programing such as gBeat the Championsh and gLiving in a Desert Islandh also helped increasing our ratings as well. 2013 was an anniversary eve year and the real anniversary is yet to come in the coming February 2014. I hope we get to celebrate it with an even greater joy as we continue to create attractive contents diligently.
