The very first episode was aired in October 2011. Since then “DOCTORS: The Ultimate Surgeon” has become a very popular drama watched in many countries, and now its second series is coming back with new episodes this coming July!
The production of this second series was decided in response to a large number of voices in Japan asking for its sequel.

Everyone knows him as a superb surgeon who is always kind to his patients with his gentle smile. But surgeon Kosuke Sagara’s other face is a merciless doctor who would do anything using any means for what he believes is correct medical service.

Sagara believes that “being an honest person comes before being a doctor ”. It is a full-fledged medical drama in which his strong conviction leads him to continuous confrontations with other doctors as he tries to reform the general hospital.
