TV Asahi has set its “55th Anniversary Period” of 14 months starting from the 1st of February 2013, a year prior to the 55th anniversary of the launch of its broadcast on the same day in 2014, until the 31st of March 2014. Major scale line-ups of powerful contents and events including drama, variety shows, sports coverage, news & infotainments, and films we invested in are to unfold dramatically during the festive period. TV Asahi has become “Channel 5” with the complete digitization in Japan, and the new channel number “5” now represents the new and more exciting TV Asahi. The “double 5” anniversary year is definitely going to be a super exiting year. The logo design for the 55th anniversary features the hands of all the staff members of TV Asahi in the shape of “5”. It symbolizes a great synergized power that is created by each and every small hand of our staff members joining together to produce quality contents that are worthy for this special occasion.
